Duration: 2 hours each day (M-F), 9-11 am
Mode: Virtual / In-Person 4H Center
Level: Intermediate (Grade 7-9)
Prerequisite: Basic Programming (C / C++ recommended)
Get started with the basics of circuits and electronics. Arduino is an open-source electronics prototyping platform based on flexible, easy-to-use hardware and software.
During the summer camp, middle school students will gain hands-on experience in working with electronic circuits including sensors and programming using Arduino IDE.
At the end of the camp, students will be able to design and build basic circuits using a starter kit and sensors.
Duration: 2 hours each day (M-F), 9-11 am
Mode: Virtual / In-Person 4H Center
Level: Beginner (Grade 4-9)
Prerequisite : Imagination
In this introductory-level camp, students learn how to turn their ideas into a 3D model using the Onshape CAD program and prepare it for 3D printing. We will explore the basics of points, edges, and faces, working with smart dimension, extrude, revolve, and fillet tools.
Students will work on introductory projects and will get to print their projects at the lab. Printed projects can be taken home.
